BodyCage Limited has been formed to address an established safety need in the equestrian world. Accidents in riding are 20 times more likely than on a motorcycle and with a number of recent deaths in eventing there is a strong positive demand for a product that will protect the torso from crushing. BodyCage has developed a revolutionary product offering the same levels of protection as current body protectors, but in addition moving the safety standards forward by protecting the torso from crushing.

Having reached prototype stage, BodyCage approached SEGF for the funding required to finalise material selection and the manufacturing process prior to licensing its product to a manufacturer and distributor.
