HDMI Limited was established in May 2007 to acquire the rights to the Miglia brand and its portfolio of products – the market - leading brand of Macintosh-based computer peripherals such as the award winning Miglia TV on the Mac range. Miglia, a division of HDMI, is a manufacturer of both computer and consumer electronics accessories for the digital lifestyle. The Company’s products leverage high-end audio, video and voice technologies and apply them to the broader consumer marketplace. Although currently focused on the Apple market, HDMI’s vision is to further develop the Miglia brand to cover PC and other lifestyle accessories.
SEGF invested £250,000 to finance the acquisition and worked closely with HSBC and Venture Finance who provided trade finance and working capital facilities to support HDMI’s planned expansion. A Non-Executive Chairman has been selected to assist management and to provide additional corporate governance and financial expertise to the management team. |
