Imagineer have built a successful international business through the sale of its suite of advanced software tools for professional film and video post industry. Its proprierary cutting edge image processing technologies have been used in a wide number of Hollywood blockbusters including X-Men 3, Pirates of the Caribbean II and Eight Below.
The company intends to use some of the funds to establish a digital media advertising service business which will provide an end-to-end in-video advertising service to corporate clients.
SEGF invested £250,000 alongside London Seed Capital and Oxford Technology 4 VCT in a £1,000,000 funding round in July 2006.
In September 2007 SEGF led £300k a follow-on investment in Imagineer and introduced the company to its new Chairman Graham Ransom. Existing investors contributed to the investment. |
