Formed in May 2000, Moonroller authors, publishes and distributes a series of interactive music guides on DVD/CD-Rom; including guitar, keyboard, harmonica and singers guides. Developed by musicians for musicians, the products are highly original and encompass a mass of material suitable from total beginners to professional performers.
Receiving very favourable reviews in the music press and magazines, we were encouraged by the mass market potential for their high quality products. The team had already signed key distributors in the UK, with negotiations already in place for export sales. Coupled with a small, but highly committed management team we felt that an investment from SEGF would enable the company to evidence substantial growth and value creation.
SEGF invested £100,000 to support the continued development of the products and enable a formal rollout of the suite to be established. We also arranged a £50,000 loan for the company, through the Small Firms Loan Guarantee Scheme. |
