Oxford Englaish Training Limited (OETL) was founded in 2000 to offer English language training in Beijing China. The company has since grown to be a prestigious English Language and Business Qualifications training company servicing Tier 1 corporations operating in China.
The astonishing and continued expansion of the Chinese economy has created both an enormous market for the English language as well as a shortfall of professionally qualified Chinese citizens. SEGF is particularly excited by OETL ‘s unique provision of both these services and its already widely recognised premium brand in China.
SEGF invested as part of an investment round designed to fund the continued expansion of Oxford English in mainland China. SEGF invested alongside a number of existing angel investors including the company Chairman.
This injection of capital will enable the opening of multiple teaching centres in several of China’s most populated and commercially inclined cities and further promotion of the already highly regarded Oxford English brand. |
